Fred Alam - General Manager

Fred Alam is a respected professional in the financial services industry, boasting a career spanning more than three decades with roles in leadership and significant achievements. His journey began at the State Bank of NSW, where his final role was Area Sales Manager. He was there for 12 years. During this time, Fred's leadership and sales expertise were instrumental in driving the bank's success and growth.

In January 2001, Fred took on the role of Director of Sales at Resimac, a leading financial services company. His eight-year tenure there was marked by strategic leadership and the successful implementation of sales strategies that substantially boosted the company's market presence and profitability.

Fred then moved to Your Loan Zone, where he held the position of Sales Manager from January 2009 to May 2011. In this role, he continued to refine his skills in sales management, client relations, and team leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial solutions to clients.

The pinnacle of his career has been his role as a RAMS Franchisee, which he held from May 2011 to September 2023. Over these 12 years, Fred's tenure as a leading franchisee has been characterised by outstanding sales performance, exceptional customer service, and the cultivation of a strong, client-focused team. His leadership and business acumen have established his franchise as a standout performer in the RAMS network, showcasing his commitment to excellence and deep understanding of the mortgage and financial services industry. He served on the Franchise Advisory Council for 10 years, having two terms as Chairman.

Nirmal Edirisinghe - Executive Officer

Nirmal Edirisinghe is a seasoned professional in the financial services sector, with a career that showcases a diverse range of expertise and roles. Kristy Alam - Founding Member

As a founding member of FinSecure, Kristy Alam has dedicated over 25 years to the financial services industry, specialising in credit, finance, and mortgages. Kristy’s journey began with a focus on credit operations and lending, where she established a new origination arm for a wholesale lender and gained invaluable experience in the sector.

Kristy’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to a 14+ year tenure as a lending business owner, during which she managed a white label offering, held an Australian Credit Licence, and served as a franchisee for RAMS Financial Group. This diverse experience has given her a profound understanding of the mortgage landscape, from its complexities to its potential for innovation.

At FinSecure, Kristy identified and addressed a crucial market gap: the need for financial solutions tailored to Australia's self-employed. This vision has been the driving force behind FinSecure's commitment to simplifying access to finance for the self-employed community.

Today, her role at FinSecure has evolved to being a founding member and strategic advisor, and her commitment remains steadfast.
